A novel coronavirus (nCoV) was identified.

Following the widespread of this disease, most of the football leagues such as the Italian Serie A, English Premier League, Bundesliga, La Liga, France Ligue 1 and Champions League were suspended. The Euro 2020 was also rescheduled to 11th June 2021. After the suspension of the leagues, all the players and staff were quarantined and every country was under Lockdown with no trace of any football matches being played. Italy the most affected country by COVID-19 then had to take tremendous precautions.

It's been 5 months since the outbreak of COVID-19 and slowly the football leagues are making a comeback after Coppa Italia semi-final between Juventus and AC Milan was played behind closed doors with Juventus making it to the finals of the Coppa Italia 2020 on away goals. Soon later Napoli vs Inter Milan took place where Christian Eriksen scored a stunning goal from a corner but the joy didn't last as Napoli striker Mertens scored and Napoli secured a spot in the final by winning the match on aggregate.

The stage is all set for the final on 17th June 2020 for Juventus vs Napoli with both the teams eying the Coppa Italia Trophy and Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri waiting to lift his first for Juventus since joining last summer.

English Premier League
The players have been training since 21st May and are all set for the season to restart with the first game Aston Villa vs Sheffield United to take place on Wednesday 17th June.

La Liga Santander
The La Liga restarted the season with the first game being played between Sevilla and Real Betis where Sevilla won by 2-0. Barcelona is currently leading the race of La Liga with 61 points and right behind are Real Madrid with 59 points.

With all the leagues restarting it is going to be a tough fight for all the players and team to achieve all they can without their supporters but let's hope that things get back to normal so that we get to see Pep Guardiola on his knees after losing😉. Stay tuned for latest updates.
