Blog 12: Paris Saint-German vs Bayern Munich- What can we expect?
HISTORY- Paris Saint-German
PSG is very strong on paper no doubt but when it comes to UEFA competitions they lack a lot of skillset and coordination. So for the past 10 years, they have been struggling a lot in terms of winning the UCL but this season they seem to be very promising and determined. Some big names like Neymar, Mbappe, Icardi and Di Maria are the shining stars of the French club. Between the year 2000 and 2005, the club was not even qualifying for the last 16. Later between 2005-2012, PSG didn't even qualify for the UCL and it was a bit disappointing considering which league they play in "Farmer's League". From 2013 is when the club actually started to perform well as they signed many players with the potential to turn around the game. They have reached the Quarter-Finals four times, Last 16 three times and Final only once in the last 10 years. The club has not won UEFA Champions League even once so far.
