Blog 29: Zidane to replace Man Utd-bound Pochettino at PSG!

After an atrocious defeat against Watford, the Manchester United hierarchy took the most awaited decision of parting ways with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Although we can agree that Solskjaer left the club in a much better state than he inherited. He departs without a trophy to his name but there were still enough moments of greatness during his time as a manager at Old Trafford.
Pochettino Situation
Many journalists have recently reported that Pochettino is not completely happy with the squad at Parc Des Princes and is apparently very keen to take over from where Solskjaer left at United. This would clearly benefit the Red Devils if they appoint him as the permanent manager rather than appointing an interim manager until the end of the season.
There are talks in the dressing room at Paris Saint-Germain and a belief that Pochettino will walk out on the current League 1 leaders. But if United want to appoint him then they will have to pay up to £8.4 Million in compensation to PSG.
Zidane Situation
If at all Pochettino leaves the French champions then PSG has another option waiting to step in and change it all at Parc Des Princes. Zinedine Zidane has, who was earlier linked to Man United, is not interested to take over at Old Trafford and that is very much clear. But since the Pochettino and Man United talks began, PSG started preparing for Poch's exit and have reportedly contacted Zizou.
The former Real Madrid manager is currently out of work and is reportedly loving the idea of managing the squad of PSG. With names likes Mbappe, Neymar and Messi Zidane is likely to get convinced and take over from Mauricio at Paris Saint-Germain.
